No new COVID-19 cases in Clinton County
Clinton County didn’t add any new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 100 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 88 are confirmed and 12 are probable. So far 1,884 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County remains the same with 240 confirmed and 22 probable, according to the department’s numbers.
Lycoming County confirmed cases increased by four to 232 with 23 probable, the department of health said.
Statewide 781 new cases were reported, increasing the total to 98,446 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 16 new deaths on Thursday, increasing the total to 6,973. In Clinton County, there have been five confirmed deaths. The health department has reported nine deaths for Centre County and 20 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 76 percent of patients – about 74,818 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 885,195 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
