Two new COVID-19 cases reported in Clinton County
Clinton County added two new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 112 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 99 are confirmed and 13 are probable. So far 2,315 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County increase by five cases with 335 confirmed and 35 probable, the department reported.
Lycoming County saw an increase of five also with 280 confirmed cases and 26 probable, the department of health said.
Statewide, 834 new cases were reported, increasing the total to 110,218 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 7,162 deaths on Wednesday, an increase of 16 from the previous day. In Clinton County, there have been five confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 10 deaths for Centre County and 20 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 75 percent of patients – about 82,663 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 1,073,863 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
