Jane L. Lynch

Jane L. Lynch, 93, 798 Edwin St., Williamsport died Dec. 15, 2017 at the Gatehouse Hospice In Williamsport.

Born March 26, 1924 in Mill Hall she was the daughter of the late Jesse E. and Audrey M. Walker Laubach.

Jane was a 1942 graduate of the former Mill Hall High School and a former employee of the Stroehmann’s Bakery , Williamsport, retiring in July 1980 after 18 years of service. She had been a donut boxer at Stroehmanns. Jane had been a participant at Albright Life in Williamsport and was a Peer Member helping new participants acclimate themselves to various offered programs.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and jigsaw puzzles. Earlier in her life she had attended the Mill Hall Presbyterian Church (now the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church). Jane had been a resident of Lycoming Co. since 1955.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa (John) Shepherd, Liberty, Pa.; three sons, Patrick E. (Flora) Lynch, Blue Ridge, Va.; Francis E. (Sue) Lynch, Belleville, Pa and Donald W. (Cathy) Lynch, Cogan Station, Pa.; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by one son John J. Lynch who died June 7, 2014; one sister June Stover who died June 15, 1996 and two brothers, Emory Laubach and Jesse E. Laubach who died January 1995.

A funeral service honoring the life of Jane L. Lynch will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, with Pastor Susan Champion officiating. Friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to services. Interment, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Mill Hall, Pa. or the Diabetes Assoc. through the funeral home.
