Joann C. Worden

Joann C. Worden, 65, 345 St. Clair Ave., Renovo, died April 19, 2019 at the Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo, Pa.

Born Aug. 14, 1953 in Renovo she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Miller Stidfole.

Joann was a member of the Renovo Woman’s Dart League, a social member of American Legion Post 442, Sons of Italy and the Eagles Club. She enjoyed playing Eucher, spending time with her family especially her grandson, Dakota and cook-outs. Joann was a 1973 graduate of the Bucktail High School.

She survived by one daughter, Ruthie (JR) Ruiz, of St. Marys, Pa.; one son, Michael (Roseann) Stidfole, of North Bend, Pa.; one step-daughter, Heather Stover, Lock Haven; two step-sons, John (Kelly) Worden & James (Nancy) Worden both of Lock Haven; two brothers: Clarence Foust, North Bend, Pa and Robert Burgett, Williamsport, Pa.; two sisters, Aloma Wilkenson, Muncy, Pa and Patricia (Wayne) Converse, Wellsboro, Pa; 19 grand children and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher L. Stidfole, who died Oct. 17, 2005 and one brother, Ronald Dougherty, who died in 1974.

A funeral service honoring the life of Joann C. Worden will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa. with Rev. Doug Conway officiating. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of services. Interment, North Bend Cemetery.
