Merrill P. “Tink” Cummings, Jr

Merrill P. “Tink” Cummings, Jr., 70, of Renovo passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo.

He was married to the former Justine G. Stone on Dec. 26, 1973. They celebrated 47 years of marriage together.

Born Aug. 15, 1949 in Renovo. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks and the Renovo Fire Dept. Station #29.

“Tink” was known for being an agitator and jokester.

He was a Vietnam Veteran where he served in the Marine Corps.

Surviving are his loving wife and two sons Gary J. (Lisa) Cummings of Renovo and Jeffrey A. (Amanda) Cummings of Jersey Shore one daughter Jessica M. Stroup-Kelley of Jersey Shore as well as 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 5th St., Renovo.

Burial will follow at North Bend Cemetery, North Bend.
