DIEFFENDERFER — Virginia Lee Herritt Mayes Dieffenderfer, 73, of South Hanover Township, died Nov. 27, 2020. Viewing, 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3 at Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown. Funeral service will follow at 7.

SWINEHART — Laura A. Swinehart, 90, of Jersey Shore, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020. There is a change in the funeral service location. Services for Laura will be held Monday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. There will be a one hour visitation starting at noon up to the time of the service.

WHITEHILL — Dorothy M. “Dot” Whitehill, of Spring Mills, died Nov. 28, 2020. Funeral service, 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3, Steven R. Neff Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

LOMISON — The Memorial Service for Betty M. Lomison, scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11, has been postponed due to COVID-19. An announcement will be made when a new date is established. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

BARNER — Ellen M. (Watt) Barner, 71, of Shintown, died on Thursday, April 9, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Hyner United Methodist Church in Hyner, Pa. Friends and family are welcome to a time of visitation a half-hour prior to the service. Masks are required.
