Talia Ann Heinly
Talia Ann Heinly, age 22, of Mohnton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1998 in Reading, PA. She is the daughter of Minta and Charles Heinly.
Talia graduated from high school in 2016 and The Pennsylvania State University in 2020 with a B.S. in Immunology and Infectious Disease. She just recently got accepted into a PSU Graduate Program in Pathobiology.
In June, Talia began her position with the Troy Sutton Research Laboratory as a full-time Research Technician studying many different diseases and participating in various research projects, including being published.
Talia enjoyed hiking, playing with and training her dog, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. As long as she was outdoors, she was happy. She was truly infatuated by the Nittany Mountains and surrounding areas, and found a loving partner in Alex Kemmerer; settling in the Mill Hall area with him and his family.
In addition to her parents, Talia is survived by her sister Paige E. Pendzick of Pasadena, MD, wife of Greg Pendzick; her sidekick and brother Nathan P. Heinly, and his fiance Nikki Brand, of Mohnton, PA; her paternal grandfather W. Charles Heinly of Bloomsburg; her dog Willow, and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
In place of a service, we cordially invite you to attend her celebration of life and remembrance ceremony to be posted on the Reed Funeral Home website at reedfh.com, available on Friday Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., and viewable for an extended period of time. Burial service will be held privately.
