ARTHUR MUSSER

Arthur Leroy Musser, 90, of Lewisburg, formerly of Middleburg, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewisburg.

Born on Nov. 23, 1935, in Spring Township, Snyder County, Arthur was a son to the late Roy and Anna (Weaver) Musser. On Dec. 30, 1953, he married the former Edith Scholl, who preceded him in death following her passing in 2004.

Arthur attended Beavertown Gods Missionary Church.

He was a dedicated poultry farmer for various employers, including Mattern Hatchery and Kreamer Feed.

Arthur thoroughly enjoyed hunting, as well as supporting the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment shared with those he loved most. His commitment to his church and his faith guided him throughout his life.

He is survived by sons, Paul (Bonnie) Musser, David (Sue) Musser Sr., John (Nancy) Musser Sr., Timothy (Debra) Musser and Thomas (Shirley) Musser; daughters, Sarah (Joe) Musser and Ruth (George) Toner; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by brothers Ray, Charles, Ralph and Clair; a sister, Shirley Laughman; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1653 Creek Road, Middleburg with Rev. James Plank, Soloman Shaffer and Nick Rine officiating. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral service.

Burial will follow in Beavertown God’s Missionary Church Cemetery.
