– Immunizations in Lock Haven – 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday (first and third Thursdays of the month) at City Hall, 20 E. Church St., for people who are under-insured or have no insurance. – New Love Center Food Pantry – 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Aug. 28 (second and fourth Friday of the month) at St. John Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, for residents of Jersey Shore, Linden, Avis, McElhattan and Woolrich areas.

– Howard Area Food Bank sponsored by Lions club – 2-4:30 p.m. in former Beech Creek Elementary School, open to Clinton County residents Monday (third Monday of the month).

– New Love Center Cafe – 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. weekdays, Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore (enter on Glover Street side). Doors open at 8 a.m. for coffee.

– Pass-It-On Community Outreach – 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24 in the house at 610 Frederick St., Flemington, next to Seventh-Day Adventist Church which sponsors the program.

– Free pair of shoes, socks and a book, for wee ones through 17-year-olds with medical access cards or referrals at: Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, and Shoes for Shore at Tiadaghton Mall, Jersey Shore, both open 10 a.m.-noon today (first and third Saturdays of the month).
