World Champions parading through towns today

How about a standing ovation for the Clinton County Hawks volleyball team that won the gold medal in the Special Olympics World Games recently!

It’s spectacular.

Fantastic.

Awesome.

Wonderful.

So PROUD!

Members of the Clinton County Hawks are head Coach Brad Marr, Kathy Marr, Elaine Litz, Ron Smith, Coach Sarah Fromknecht, Conner Borner, Jordan Litz, Lee Powers, Chris Smith, Holdan Marr, Rob Borner and Coach Chuck Litz.

Right behind this team of incredible athletes are their families.

Family support is such a powerful force.

And this little old village of Clinton County is one big family, as its special olympic athletes have had enduring success in competition in various sports.

A tribute to the support system here.

As for the standing ovation, you can stand up and clap as the team — escorted by numerous fire departments — will parade from Avis, through Dunnstown and into Lock Haven today.

That’s TODAY – Saturday, March 23.

Line up, folks, because some very special athletes are coming back home.

They will probably be in or at Avis say around or just after noon.

They’re scheduled to come through Dunnstown and Lock Haven between 1 and 1:30 p.m. today.

How about that!

We have World Champions among us!
