There are two parts to Thanksgiving
There is no question we live in a very cynical society.
Our culture is reflected by the increasingly ridiculous, no-holds-barred world of 24/7 social and television media, movies and so-called entertainment in which people seek more and more to capitalize on the failures or perceived weaknesses of other people.
It should not define us.
We should know better.
It’s what is in our individual hearts that dictates how we celebrate this day, Thanksgiving, and how we live our lives.
There are two parts to Thanksgiving: Thanks and Giving.
Keep that in mind. Keep that in perspective.
Whether you see your family and friends directly today, communicate via the phone or by a greeting card remember that Thanksgiving is just one short moment of the year and that you have 365 days to be grateful.
Let that define how you live your life.
