My father taught me at an early age that when you are placing political signs for candidates, you should only place them where you have permission to do this.
He would not ever place a sign for any candidate without a property owner’s permission and he always frowned on this happening.
As we all know, the times have changed. However, I still live by his rule and only place signs where I have been given permission to do so.
Yes, there are some times signs are placed for candidates that I support in places that dad would not approve of, as we can’t control every sign placement.
He felt that the sign identified support for the candidates from the people allowing you to place them, and with that, I agree.
I am proud to say that I have placed many signs for Mike Hanna Jr. with permission and know that he will represent our best interests in Harrisburg for many years to come.
