Right on

Alan Huff’s letter in the Aug. 17 edition is right on, especially the last sentence: “Hopefully, when I’m dust in the wind, my grandchildren will never look back on the times as the good old days.”

And they were the good old days when you could go outside and play kick the can, gather lightning bugs in a jar, be able to take a nightly walk, go window shopping at the stores in town, play hide and go seek at night, etc.

Those were the good old days.
