Hope springs eternal
Do letters to the editor ever really change anyone’s views? I don’t know but “hope springs eternal.”
Thank you to our community newspapers for having this forum.
I enjoy hearing from all sides if reasonably written and I appreciate the humor in many of these epistles. I believe I have noticed a more balanced editorial page on some occasions, good for you. Try explaining your ideas.
Bullying is bullying in whatever form it takes.

I don’t believe most people in this country approve of it except perhaps a small minority who you make more brazen with each damaging phrase.
Congress, why can’t you consider ideas before demeaning them. We can help many people with health care, better immigration policies and tax reform to name a few. To quote a former President, “we don’t choose to do things because they are easy but because they are hard!”
As I stated in the beginning I like to get my paper. Making the press the enemy does us no good at all. Just because someone differs from you in their views doesn’t make them the enemy.
Also wanting to help people doesn’t make someone a communist. I watch Fox News sometimes. As I also stated in the beginning, I like to read and listen to humorous material!
Oh, come on, just kidding.
One last thought for the day: I don’t think it is an aisle separating us any more but an alley, a dark alley.
For those who are favoring party power over the people, allow me to quote Mark: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”
Thanks for “listening.”
