Don’t blame the president!

SHIRLEY MOORE

McElhattan

I have just read the April 1 letter to the editor from Jay Myers of Hughesville entitled, “Virus,” and boy am I mad.

So we have a virus to deal with, so did the U.S. after World War I. Was that blamed on the president back then? Or was polio blamed on the president in the 40s and 50s? Are the millions of unborn infants’ deaths blamed on the president?

Seems to me, you are putting the shoe on the wrong foot. Are you one of the lunatics hoarding toilet paper and expecting a really bad case of diarrhea and being unable to get some immodium? The inept one here is the one who wrote the letter to the editor published April 1.

Yes, I am a deplorable supporter of Trump. He never claimed to be a politician which is why I voted for him and will do so again.

No one listened to Trump when he said no more than 10 people in a room. They don’t now. We are the cure and now we must pay attention and stay home. Thank God I voted for Trump. Mr. Trump usually says what I am thinking. I liked him then. I respect him now.
