Helping hand

My wife and myself along with my cousin and his wife were riding our motorcycles Monday looking for a place to eat.

We love Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and decided to eat in Lock Haven at the KFC. We decided to try standing in the drive thru and wanted to see if we could order that way before trying to go through with the bikes.

We were told by several staff that we could not, so as we were getting ready to get the bikes a young lady in a car pulled up and said she would go through and order for us. The manager than came out and told us the lady in the car would also have to pay.

We ordered and gave the lady our debit card since KFC wouldn’t take cash and she picked up our food, paid for it and then handed the food to us.

She wouldn’t take any money from us but my wife threw some money in her car.

Then we found out she wasn’t even planning on getting any food, but saw us standing in the drive thru and new they would not let us.

It is nice to know that there are still some people in this world that will stop what they are doing to help someone.

We never got her name, but will never forget her kindness.
