School taxes and artificial turf

I was reading in The Express on Saturday that the Keystone Central School Board had saved $900,000 when it closed the school year early during this Pandemic.

Yet, with 20%-plus unemployment the district can still afford to replace the artificial turf at high school football stadium-athletic complex without raising our taxes this coming school year.

Or is that wishful thinking?
