Owning your mistakes and setting the record straight
DARLA J. MCCULLOUGH
In the news from police reported in the Nov. 14 edition of The Express was a report regarding John M. McCullough Jr., of Gallagher Township.
This article listed separate charges from simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.
The report from police portrayed him as a monster, especially toward me (his wife).
This is the farthest from the truth. I falsely accused him, made him spend time in jail, emotionally destroyed him and tainted his reputation.
Anyone who knows John already knows this was not accurate.
Everybody else just needs to realize how much of a gentleman he is. He has always loved me and always will.
He has always been there for me and would give me the world. He would never do or think about doing anything like this to any woman, especially me.
This is my public apology to my husband and to set things right. He is the love of my life, my support system, and he is everything I ever wanted in a husband.
I am forever sorry and with all of my love I ask him to forgive me.
