Building up Clinton County’s economy
I am tired of hearing about the election.
Our town has been decreasing in size since 1972.
We need to build up an economy here by bringing people into Lock Haven from out of the area.
We need to convince people to come to our small town and turn around to that person to want to stay here and open up a business here and live here.I have been thinking for three hours about this. The summer of 2022 to have our own Mardi Gras in July of next year. New Orleans laws and rules as of now is that every resident who goes to new Orleans is to wear a mask in public but also no vehicles allowed on streets at all between certain hours.
Also for Clinton County here next year 2022 to have a firemen’s convention here in August. And in Sept. 2022 to have the full fledge Regatta here.
A lot of business in summer of 2022. Especially out of towners spending their money here.Aah our economy might take a big jump here. I as of now don’t see this COVID-19 going away by then this year. I remember the fireman’s convention here.
My dad was a fireman at our Citizens Hose Co. They were very fun and had a three-hour parade.
And the laws and rules relaxed a little bit then. I was a teenager then and had fun. This town seems like it is going to be like those ghost towns in the mountains of Beech Creek and up South Renovo mountains.
That is all and thank you for reading this. And also bring festivals back and that includes everyone in Lock Haven.
