Every vote counts

BRENDA REICHERT

Bellefonte

I’m writing this letter since election day is really not that far away and I have a few things to say.

I would like everyone to remember who you would really like to see in office.

In my opinion and this is my opinion only, I will not vote for anyone who went against what the majority of the community wanted.

When politicians go against and upset the majority of the community, they do not deserve to be in office.

It’s called the democratic process.

These elected officials are in public office because of the majority. They don’t have a problem receiving a majority of votes; why can they go against that majority?

I don’t understand why they have a problem doing what the majority of the community wants.

I will really think and evaluate who I would like to see in office and I’ll consider what they’ve done and haven’t done.

Hopefully everybody else will too. I’m not telling anyone who to vote for, I’m just giving my opinion.

I really don’t want to vote for someone who has hurt me and what I believe in.

Please remember to vote because every vote counts.
