Central Mountain loses to Mifflin County
LEWISTOWN - The Central Mountain Wildcats lost to Mifflin County Friday 2-1.
Robby Nicodemus threw a complete game seven hitter in the loss.
"Robby is a competitor and I'm proud of him," CM manager Mike Kramer said. "He gave a good effort today and gave us a chance to win the ballgame."
The Wildcats will face Bald Eagle on Monday.

drops to Clearfield
WINGATE - Bald Eagle Area lost to Clearfield 7-4 Friday.
The Eagles managed eight hits in the loss - including triples from Bryce Greene and Bryan Greene.
"Their pitcher did a nice job today," BEA manager Jim Gardner said. "He mixed his pitches will and hit his spots. It was one of the hose days. We made solid contact, but it was right at them."
BEA will play Bishop McCort at Point Stadium in Johnstown today.

MILLVILLE - The Bucktail Bucks picked up two wins in a doubleheader against Millville over the weekend.
Bucktail won the first game 6-5, taking advantage of some timely errors and walks to batters.
In the second game, Bucktail bats came alive as they won 10-0 in 5 innings.
Bucktail (4-4) will host St. John Neumann today.

LHU school record
LEWISBURG - Vanita Moses continued her sensational season with another huge hammer throw performance to lead the Lock Haven University men's and women's outdoor track & field teams at the Bucknell Team Challenge.
Moses took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 175-09. The mark is a PSAC qualifier and NCAA provisional mark. It also breaks her own school record.
Lindsay Hepburn recorded a personal-best and PSAC-mark in the discus (125-05).
The Bald Eagles were well represented in the 1,500 meter run. Alex Monroe was fourth with a sensational time of 3:57.98.
Paul Stults was third in the high jump with a PSAC-mark of 6-2.75.
Lady Eagles soar
past Kutztown 14-6
KUTZTOWN - The No. 10 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (11-4, 9-1 PSAC) picked up its ninth straight win after cruising past Kutztown University (4-12, 1-9 PSAC) 14-6 Saturday.
Chelsea Borrino and Emily Cilla each netted four goals in the win, while Elyse Fisher added two.
Kayleigh Johnson, Borrino and Cilla all recorded two assists in the game.
Heather Sacko and Nicole Necci combined for five saves in the win.
Lock Haven closes out the regular season on Thursday, April 26 at Indiana (Pa.) University.
