LHU Softball’s Slattery earns PSAC Central Pitcher of the Week

LOCK HAVEN – Junior gunslinger Bekah Slattery (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central Pitcher of the Week. This marks the fourth time she has earned the honor this season and the 11th time a Lock Haven softball student-athlete has been tabbed pitcher or athlete of the week.

Slattery was brilliant on the mound for the Bald Eagles as she went 3-0 and picked up her PSAC leading fourth save and struck out 34 batters in 22 innings of work. She only allowed six hits while not allowing a run.

In all three games that Slattery started, the lefty pitcher threw complete games and was highlighted by her performance vs Goldey-Beacom where she only allowed one hit and fanned 13 batters.
