The BEA girls volleyball team was in action Saturday at the Northern Cambria Tournament.

The Eagles cruised through pool play winning 5 of their 6 matches.

In single elimination tournament play, the Eagles cruised past Somerset and then Bishop Guilfoyle.

In the championship game, BEA was matched up against the host Northern Cambria Colts. With only one set in the championship, BEA started with great play by jumping out to a 4-1 lead. Then the Colts came galloping back by scoring four straight points to lead 5-4.

The Eagles began to claw their way to a 17-10 lead. With the sets of Madison Rockey and the scoring of Grace Hugar, the Eagle momentum carried them to a championship win 25-18.
