Bald Eagle Area Girl’s Volleyball crowned Mountain League Champions

WINGATE — The Bald Eagle Area High School Eagles clinched the Mountain League title on Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over the Clearfield Bison. Game scores were 25-12, 25-3, and 25-20. The Eagles are still undefeated sitting at 14-0 for the season.

In the game against the Bison, BEA was lead by Madison Rockey’s 30 assists and six aces. Lacee Barnhart added five aces and six kills to the offensive effort. Grace Hugar led the way with 10 kills, while hitting .429 on the evening. Elita Brown scored seven kills of her own to go along with her two aces and a block.

Makenna Baney and Lexi Skripek each had 10 digs.

The JV team won, 2-0, with scores of 25-16 and 25-13.

The Bald Eagle Area High School Eagles play their final regular season home game tonight, Thursday, October 18 against Philipsburg-Osceola High School. The game is a 7:00 PM scheduled start.
