Alex Ferree held off a hard charging Andy Haus during the non-stop 25 lap River Valley Builders Late Model race to claim his first career victory. Ken Duke Jr. claimed the victory in a 20 lap non-stop feature for the PASS/IMCA Penns Valley Meat Market 305 Sprint Cars. While down at Selinsgrove they opened the season with Kyle Reinhardt of Neptune City, N.J., driving for John Westbrook, picked up his first career win at the speedway in the 25-lap 360 sprint car event. Reinhardt and Frye both collected $2,200 for their Opening Day victories.

Brandon Moser, of Middleburg, and Smith Cope, of Danville, also wired the field for their opening night wins in the 15-lap pro stock and 12-lap roadrunner main events, respectively.

Not to be outdone for action, Freddie Rahmer made it two in a row with his victory at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. Rahmer’s win on Saturday made him the first repeat winner in the 410 division at the Speedway in 2019. In the 358 Sprint race Troy Wagaman held off Wyatt Hinkle and beat him to the checker flag Jeff Halligan finished third. In the Wingless Super Sportsman race Billy Brian Jr., who is no stranger to the Speedway, having won the 410 Track Championship in 1995 and he won a World of Outlaws race at the track in 1993. On Saturday night he went on to take the checkered flag over Carmen Perigo Jr. Wilbur crossed the line third. Tony Jackson finished fourth and Drevicki held on to finish fifth. Next Saturday, Lincoln is back in action with 410 & 358 Sprint Cars and USAC East Coast Sprints. Down at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday night Danny Dietrich claimed his 12th career win at the York Haven speedway. Kevin Nouse started seventh and methodically made his way to the front to earn the win in the 25-Lap 358 Sprint Car main event. The 305 Sprint Car feature was postponed to April 20th when persistent rain hit the speedway. All that was following Kenny Edkin on Saturday when he led the entire 25-lap distance and collected his second BAPS Paints Super Sportsman win in three starts at the speedway to kick off the 2019 season.

Bobby Beard started on the pole and wired the field in the Creekside Auto Sales 358 Sprint Car main event.
