LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior Braxtin Reddinger (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) of the Lock Haven University lacrosse team has earned 2019 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Atlantic All-Region honors.

Reddinger was named to the IWLCA Atlantic All-Region Second Team after also earning Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) All-Conference honors last month.

Reddinger started all 17 games and led Lock Haven with 56 points. She scored 32 goals and added 24 assists, which placed her eighth in the PSAC in assists. Reddinger also finished fourth in the PSAC with 93 draw controls and grabbed 36 ground balls, as she stood out in the midfield. She had a 12-point game in win at Caldwell, thanks to seven goals and five assists.

For LHU lacrosse, the 2019 season was a special one as it marks the 50th anniversary of the first season of LHU lacrosse back in 1969. It also marked the 40th anniversary of the program’s only national championship. The team won the 1979 Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women national lacrosse championship.
