Warriors fall in double header
The Walnut Street Christian School Warriors traveled to Bloomsburg to face off against the Bloomsburg Christian School Knights Monday evening.
The Lady Warriors took to the hardwood first in the double header. The Lady Warriors were only able to muster 10 points in the first half while allowing the Lady Knights to net 26.
The second half of the contest was a little more balanced, but the Lady Warriors could not overcome the deficit and fell to the Lady Knights by a final score of 42-20. Their season record now sits at 3-2.

The second contest of the evening was the boys matchup between the Warriors and the Knights.
The Warriors couldn’t find an answer the Knights offense in the first period, allowing 14 points while being held scoreless. In the second period the roles reversed as the Warriors netted seven while holding the Knights scoreless.
In the second half the Warriors couldn’t contain the Knights offense and eventual fell by a final score of 44-24. Their season record now sits at 0-5.

The Warriors will host the Juniata Mennonite School Lions on Friday evening at the Jersey Shore YMCA at 6 and 7:30.
