Local roundup: Penns Valley softball blanks Bearcats

The Penns Valley softball team defeated Huntingdon Tuesday, 8-0, behind a 10-hit team effort. Avery Dinges recorded 15 strikeouts on the mound in the win. Madie Lemin suffered the loss for the Bearcats.

Bellefonte track and field competed against East Juniata and Hollidaysburg Tuesday. Kerri Shutika dominated running events for the Raiders as she captured the mile and and 200 and also was apart of the 3200 relay team that won. John Besch led the Raiders in field events for the boys team.
