Central Mountain’s Camryn Bair, a sophomore, took 11th in the 50 free preliminaries with a time of 24.13, just narrowly missing out on reaching the finals.

Jersey Shore’s Reese Charney swam a 25.15 in the preliminaries of the 100 back at Bucknell in the PIAA Class AA swimming championships, but missed making the finals by just 0.33 seconds. Charney was Shore’s first state qualifier since 2020.

Charney had an outstanding performance at the District 4 meet, winning gold in the 100 back and also placing fourth on the first day of competition.
