Dietrich earns 150th race win at Kevin Gobrecht Classic
Danny Dietrich took a fifth-place start and turned it into the 150th race victory for car owner Gary Kauffman along with the $10,000 pay day by winning Saturday’s Kevin Gobrecht Classic. Traffic would be a factor, but Brent Marks put up a valiant fight to hang on to a second-place finish ahead of Freddie Rahmer, Jacob Allen and Justin Whittall coming home in fifth place.
In the extreme socks feature Patrick McCane ran pole to pole to claim victory. Billy Brian Jr. claimed victory in the wingless sportsman feature.
Up next at the speedway on Nov. 16 will be a race featuring the 410 sprints and 358 modifieds. Racing starts at 3 p.m.
