CM grad Welch earns All-Landmark nod
Five members of the Lycoming College football team earned recognition on the All-Landmark Conference team in Central Mountain graduate Jake Welch, sophomore running back Terrence Oliver, junior offensive lineman Braedon Hart, senior defensive lineman and, senior linebacker Joey Rivituso and junior kick returner Tyler Marshall were named to the second team and Marshall also earned honorable mention honors as a defensive back – the conference office announced on Thursday.
Welch, who also earned his second straight second-team All-Landmark Conference honors, plugged up the middle for the Warriors’ defensive line, posting 42 tackles, two for loss. The 6-2, 274-pounder had three straight seasons with 40 or more tackles, finishing his career with 179 stops, 12.5 for loss and three forced fumbles.
The Warriors finished 2024 with a 4-6 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the Landmark Conference.
