PHILADELPHIA – The Lock Haven men’s wrestling team competed at the PRTC Keystone Classic on Sunday.

Anthony Noto, Avery Bassett, Colin Fegley and Tucker Hogan each claimed individual titles, as Lock Haven finished first in the team standings with 149.5 points, edging out No. 5 Virginia Tech and defending Mid-American Conference (MAC) Champion Central Michigan.

No. 16 Anthony Noto went a perfect 4-0 on the day to take home the 133-pound title. Noto, a returning All-American, earned an 8-5 decision victory over No. 29 Ryan Miller in the semifinals. He then took first after a 4-2 decision in the final.

Avery Bassett claimed top honors in the 174-pound bracket.

Bassett made his way to the finals after a victory by fall in 1:30 over Drexel’s Jack Janda. The final bout featured two Lock Haven wrestlers in Bassett and Tyler Stoltzfus.

There, Bassett would ultimately take first after an 11-2 major decision, with Stoltzfus finishing second with a 2-1 record, one pin and one technical fall.

No. 28 Colin Fegley was the third Bald Eagle to claim gold, going 3-0 at 184. Fegley went to overtime in the final bout against Central Michigan’s Adrien Cramer, where he scored the winning takedown for the 4-1 victory.

Freshman Tucker Hogan finished with two tech falls and soared to the 197-pound title.

Hogan opened up the day with a 15-0 tech fall in 1:12 over Harvard’s Mason Pellegri before posting a 15-4 major decision in the semifinals. In the finals, Hogan won by tech fall, 16-1, in 5:16.

Sean Logue, Lucas Kapusta, and No. 33 Nick Stampoulos all finished fourth at 125, 149, and 157, respectively.

Logue went 3-2 with a pin. Kapusta went 3-2 with a tech fall and a pin. And Stampoulos went 3-2 and recorded one tech fall, dropping the third-place bout by a 4-0 decision.

Caden Dobbins placed fifth at 165. The Bloomsburg transfer downed Virginia Tech’s Kylan Montgomery 6-3 in the fifth-place match.

DaShawn Farber and James Lledo placed sixth at 149 and 184, respectively. Lledo finished with two pins on the day.

Conner Heckman and Ethan Miller placed eighth at 141 and 285.
