CM boys defeat Shikellamy in a thriller 54-50 in boys basketball
Central Mountain held a narrow lead at the half, but played strong after the break to close the game and hold off Shikellamy for an exciting 54-50 win against the Braves.
Central Mountain held a 15-11 lead after the first quarter and held just a 20-18 lead at halftime.
But Shikellamy never outscored Central Mountain in any quarter and the Wildcats did enough defensively to win.
Hunter Hoy had an outstanding game, scoring a team-high 23 points – going 10 for 11 from the line — while Noah Wells scored 14 points. Max Verrelli added seven.
