LEWISBURG — Jersey Shore’s Reese Charney had a solid showing at her final state championships competition in Class AA on Wednesday. The Bulldog senior reached the B finals in the 50 free.

After swimming a time of 24.35 in the preliminaries to reach the B finals, Charney then swam a time of 24.37 to finiish ninth, coming just shy of reaching the podium.

Westmont Hilltop’s Rylee Kohan won the girls 50 free in 23.22.

Charney swam alongside Kate Butzler, Aaralynn Kimble and Brooke Charney in the girls 200 medley relay on Wednesday. The foursome finished in 1:56.16, taking 18th place in the preliminary race.

Butzler swam a 29.05 in the first leg of the race and Reese Charney swam a 29.28 in the second leg. In the third leg, Kimble swam a 27.36 and Brooke Charney finished with a 27.36 split.
