Just four teams remain in the hunt for the District 4 Class AA team title, and Jersey Shore is among them. The Bulldogs defeated South Williamsport, 3-0, on Monday to advance to the semifinals.

With the win, Jersey Shore advances to face Central Columbia on Tuesday at Muncy at 4 p.m. On the other side of the bracket, Lewisburg will face either Loyalsock or Danville on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The District 4 championship is scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. at a site to be determined.

At No. 1 singles, Jersey Shore’s Ryder Fink defeated Wyatt Robbins in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

Jersey Shore secured the win thanks to sweeping the doubles competition.

Jersey Shore’s Ezra Paulhamus and Dekin McDermitt beat Lucas Bower and Dylann Webb at No. 1 doubles, 6-3, 6-3. At No. 2 doubles, Jersey Shore’s Dylan harsanyi and Dillon Hensler secured a 6-1, 6-3 win over David Miller and Levi Jackson.

Jersey Shore led both the other singles matches when the matchup was called. At No. 2 singles, Saul Hensler led South Williamsport’s Sawyer Fry, 6-0, 5-1. At No. 3 singles, Abram Paulhamus led South Williamsport’s Carson Harris, 6-1, 0-0.

Jersey Shore is the No. 2 seed in the field and received a first-round bye into the quarterfinals. South Williamsport reached the quarterfinals thanks to a 4-1 win last week against Towanda.

Lewisburg is looking to win its second straight District 4 team title after winning the crown in 2024. Central Columbia won five straight District 4 team titles from 2018-23 (no season in 2020).

Jersey Shore is eyeing its first District 4 team title this century.

The last team outside of Lewisburg or Central Columbia to win the team title was Galeton, which won three straight from 2014-16, and Hughesville (2011).
