Central Mountain competed on Saturday morning at the Central Columbia 2025 Blue Jay First Chance Invitational at Bloomsburg University.

Central Mountain standout Gabriella Hosley swam a time of 2:21.45 to take first in the 200 IM by a second over Bloomsburg’s Lucy Diehl. Lewisburg’s Claire Graver was third in 2:26.81. Hosley also won the 100 breast in 1:13.08, winning by just over a second over Bloomsburg’s Anna Yancoskie.

Central Mountain saw Erin Packer take home eighth in the 500 free by swimming a 7:11.14. Evelyn Albright of the Wildcats was a seventh-place finisher in the 100 fly in 1:23.35.

In the girls 200 free relay, Central Mountain had a fifth-place finishing team that consisted of Kaylie McCloskey, Hosley, Anna Stahl and Sloan Coakley in 1:57.23. They were only five seconds behind Athens’ fourth-place finishing team.

On the boys side, Central Mountain’s 200 free relay team took fourth with Che McAllister, Jacob Rembold, Brody Rhine and Rhys Swift swimming a 1:46.07.

Central Mountain’s Christian Briggs, Brayden Packer, Rhys Swift and Jacob Rembold swam a time of 1:59.54 to take fifth in the boys 200 medley relay. They were just three seconds behind Central Columbia, who took fourth. Briggs individually finisihed fourth in the 100 back in 1:04.22, just two seconds from taking home third (Danville’s Briar Treibly, 1:02.75).

Holden Long took ninth in the 200 fre in 2:19.31. In the 50 free, Central Mountain’s Che McAllister finished 15th in 26.20 and Rhys Swift was 16th in 26.28 while Jacob Rembold took 17th in 26.37.

Swift finished seventh in the 500 free after swimming a 6:05.76. Neil Kaluzny was an 11th-place finisher in the 100 free in in 57.88. Holden took 11th in the 500 free in 6:38.31.

Coakley was an 11th-place finisher in the girls 100 back in 1:15.70.

In the boys 100 breast, Central Mountain’s Brody Rhine was 13th (1:17.43) and McAllister took 14th (1:18.77).

Central Mountain’s Anna Stahl, Hosley, Evelyn Albright and Kaylie McCloskey took ninth in 2:15.11 in the 200 medley relay.

In the 50 free, Central Mountain’s Stahl took 17th and McCloskey was 18th while Coakley took 20th. McCloskey also swam a time of 1:07.97 to take 11th in the 100 free.

Erin Thompson finished 15th in 3:18.86 in the 200 free.

Central Mountain’s Thompson, Evelyn Albright, Zaylie Warren and Harper Coleman finisihed tenth in the girls 400 free relay.
