Clinton County adds one new case of COVID-19
LOCK HAVEN — Clinton County added one case of COVID-19 on Monday.
To date, 81 people in the county have tested positive for the virus, the Pennsylvania Department of Health said. Of those, 71 have been confirmed and 10 are considered probable, according to the department.
Centre County saw cases increase to 212 confirmed cases and 16 probable.
Lycoming County remained steady at 202 confirmed cases and 12 probably cases, according to the DOH.
Throughout the commonwealth, 743,020 people have tested negative for the virus since the outbreak first began. This includes 1,473 in Clinton; 4,866 in Centre; and 4,774 in Lycoming.
The department reported five new COVID-19 related deaths this weekend, increasing the total to 6,754. Of those, four were reported in Clinton; eight in Centre; and 20 in Lycoming.
Pennsylvania, like many states across the country, has experienced spikes in new cases.
Over the weekend 1,113 new virus cases were reported, increasing the total to 90,304, according to the department.
