Centre adds 29 cases of COVID-19; Clinton unchanged

Centre County’s numbers continue to rise, but the jump wasn’t as significant on Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Centre County added 29 cases of COVID-19. Its total now stands at 2,231. Clinton County remained unchanged at 204 cases of the deadly virus.

Throughout the state, there were 806 additional positive cases of COVID-19. Throughout the Commonwealth, there are now 154,203 cases.

According to DOH data, two new deaths were reported in the state on Friday. A total of 8,081 Pennsylvanians have died as a result of the virus.

As far as negative tests go, Centre County has had 24,580 negative tests. Clinton County has had 4,190 negative tests.

In Lycoming County, it added seven cases to climb to 658. Other nearby counties look like this: Blair (648), Cambria (560), Union (464), Clearfield (317), Potter (28) and Cameron (8).
