Centre climbs with 212 cases of COVID-19; Clinton up 6
Centre County continues to skyrocket in cases of COVID-19. The county added 212 cases of the deadly virus and now has 1,449 cases.
Clinton County added six cases on Tuesday, rising to 176. Meanwhile, Lycoming County is up eight to 596.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there were 1,151 new cases of COVID-19 throughout the state. That brings the statewide total to 146,214.
An additional six Pennsylvania residents have died from COVID-19, according to DOH data. There are now 7,875 deaths in the state as a result of the virus.
As far as negative tests are concerned, Centre County now has 21,233 negative tests. Clinton County reports 3,813 negative tests today.
The Lock Haven University numbers remain the same. According to the LHU dashboard, there have been 1,045 tests administered and 59 positive cases – a positivity rate of 5.6 percent.
In nearby counties, the numbers look like this: Blair (536), Cambria (527), Union (439), Clearifeld (288), Potter (25) and Cameron (8).
