NEW YORK (AP) — Scientists have long puzzled over the origins of a mysterious dinosaur excavated in the 1940s: Was it a young T. rex or another type of dinosaur? At first, researchers had only a tyrannosaur skull to go by, making it hard to tell if it belonged to a child or adult. Another skull and skeleton nicknamed Jane added to the debate, but didn’t settle the controversy. Now a research team said there’s new evidence that resolves the case. ‘Dining with Diabetes’ to be offered

STATE COLLEGE — To help individuals build a strong base for managing diabetes and improving health, Penn State Extension will offer a “Dining with Diabetes” course starting Nov. 12. The course includes four weekly classes, a three-month follow up and a live cooking demonstration. The classes will occur from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 12, 19 and 26, and Dec. 3, at the Special Services Building, 151 Standing Stone Ln., State College. A follow-up class will occur Feb. 4, 2026. UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State Extension webinars provide evidence-based training aimed at saving lives and reducing suicidal behaviors.
