Dr. Daniel Shevock is the newest addition to the music department at CMMS. He came to us full time from Mount Nittany Middle School in January. At CMMS Dr. Shevock teaches general music classes, guitar and piano classes.

Dr. Shevock obtained his bachelor’s degree at Clarion University, his master’s degree from Towson University and his PhD from Penn State. He started teaching in 1997.

Dr. Shevock discovered he was good at playing the drums. He also learned to play other instruments very easily. He decided he wanted to teach music when he was in 10th grade and he made that a reality. So far he is enjoying his position at CMMS and is able to connect and share similar experiences with the students.
