Manevals observe 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Maneval

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Maneval, Woolrich, observed their 60th wedding anniversary April 21.

They were married at Pennsdale United Methodist Church and are members of Woolrich Community Church. Mrs. Maneval, the former Ann Lyvonne Tule, is a native of Muncy. She is the daughter of the late Alberta and Charles Tule and graduated from Muncy High School in 1951. Ann retired in 1996 from Kinder Korner at the Lock Haven YMCA, where she was employed as a teacher’s aide.

Mr. Maneval, a native of South Williamsport, is the son of the late Mildred and Raymond Maneval. Larry graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 1956 and served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1960 having done a tour of duty in Korea and Pakistan. Larry graduated from Lycoming College in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a teaching certification. He retired in 1996 from Keystone Central School District where he was employed as a teacher.

They are the parents of two daughters, Sheri Ruffing, of Montoursville, and Christine Maneval, of Muncy. They have four grandchildren, Marissa and (Tyler) Blaise, of Accomac Va., Melissa and (Todd) Badger, of Montoursville, McKenzie Ruffing, of Montoursville, and Tessa (Sean) Troup, of Muncy. They also have five great-grandchildren, Valerie, Aiden, Peyton, Carly, and Kayson.

In honor of their anniversary, a celebration will be held at a later date due to the current social circumstances.
