Robert and Ruby Bair recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. They were joined in marriage on Dec. 27, 1951 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Rebersburg, Pa. and officiated by Dr. Sunday. They lived in Castanea for 50 years and are currently living in Centre Hall, Pa. Bob and Ruby were owners of Bair's Garage on Hanna Street, Lock Haven until retirement in 1990. The following 70 years have brought a life filled with traveling adventures, antiquing, camping, attending Grange Fair, and many loving memories with friends and family. They have been blessed with three children: Jane Boozer wife of (late) Grant Boozer, fiance of Dennis Wiand of Centre Hall, James Bair husband of Susan (Teufel) of Huntingdon, Joan Ross wife of Tracy Ross of Lancaster. They have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Bob and Ruby celebrated their special day with family.
