Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Keith, longtime residents of Jersey Shore, now living in Danville, Pa., celebrate 70 years of marriage this June. They were married at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Frenchville, Pa. by the Rev. Stephen Katerzynski on June 26, 1954. Mrs. Keith, the former Rita Helen Gormont, is a native of Frenchville; she graduated from St. Francis High School, Clearfield. Mr. Keith is native of Osceola Mills. He graduated from Osceola Mills High School and served in the US Navy from 1953-1957 aboard the USS Forrestal; he retired from Conrail in 1994. They are the parents of five children; Dave, of Woolrich, Debbie Rose, of Danville, Dennis, of Downingtown, Diane Perko, of Milton and Doug, of Lewisberry. They have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A family celebration was hosted by their children on June 22.
