Savrocks celebrate 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 28

Jane Louise (Simonson) and Joseph Temons Savrock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28, 2026. They were married in 1976 at Faith United Methodist Church in Montoursville.
Mrs. Savrock, a native of West Pittston, is the daughter of the late Claude and Dorothy Simonson. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1973 and Lock Haven State College in 1977. She retired as a special educator in the Keystone Central School District in 2010.
Mr. Savrock, a native of Lock Haven, is the son of the late John and Julia Savrock. He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1970 and Lock Haven State College in 1974. He retired from Penn State University in 2015.
They are the parents of a daughter, Jessica (William) Hallman, of Bellefonte; and a son, Justin (Catherine Birdsey) Savrock, of Lancaster. They are the proud grandparents of Evelyn, Audrey and Jayden.
They celebrated their milestone anniversary earlier this month with their children and grandchildren during a family lake trip in the Poconos.
