Bellefonte teen receives Eagle Scout Award

BELLEFONTE -- Nathanael Davidson, a senior at Bellefonte Area High School, recently received his Eagle Scout Award at Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte, Pa.
Nathanael is a member of Bellefonte Boy Scout Troop 34, and former member of Bellefonte Cub Scout Pack 330, which was an integral part of his Scouting career.
For his Eagle Scout Community Service Project, Nathanael designed, built and installed a bench and rest area for residents at Harmony Retirement Community in State College, Pa..
Leadership positions attained over the course of scouting include Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, and Scribe.
Presenters at the Court of Honor included: Patrick Corbett (Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094), Steve Dershem (Centre County Commissioner), Bryan Sampsel (Centre County Sheriff), Mike Connelly (Nittany Leathernecks), Matthew Martin (BAHS teacher), Kerry Benninghoff (PA State Representative).
