Legion auxiliary meets in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY -- Department of Pennsylvania's American Legion Auxiliary's Centre, Lycoming and Clinton Counties Council was hosted by Bower Decker American Legion Auxiliary Unit #151 of Montgomery.
ALA members from all three counties were in attendance. These ladies are part of the largest Veterans Service Organization (VSO) in the world. Their mission being in the spirit of “Service, Not Self.”
The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) is to support the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve and have served, by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, they advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
They are part of the Department of Pennsylvania's American Legion Auxiliary, which is the largest American Legion Auxiliary in the world.
The next ALA's Centre, Lycoming and Clinton Council meeting will be hosted by William Marshall Crawford ALA Unit #131 of Lock Haven, on Sept. 13 at the William Marshall Crawford American Legion in Lock Haven.
