Everyone in and around the Centre County area, and perhaps in Pennsylvania, knows the slogan "We are... Penn State." The new Grand Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Randy Shook, of Tennessee, coined a similar phrase, but with a little twist: "We Are... Elks." Borrowing GER Shook's theme, members of the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 staged their own WE ARE photo, to share with GER Shook and Elks everywhere. This photo was taken at Penn State's WE ARE Statue on the University Park Campus of Penn State. Shown on the left, Leading Knight Terree Michel and Exalted Ruler Ray Holsing. In the front right, seated is Rick Hoffman, chair of the Veterans Service Committee, Head Trustee Cathy Hoffman, and to the rear is Past Exalted Ruler and Trustee Dale Moore.
