Christmas is a time for thinking of those who may be less fortunate than others. With that in mind, the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094 partnered with the Faith Centre Food Bank to prepare and distribute 100 food gift boxes. In some instances, the boxes included toys. The food boxes included a full meal, dessert, and breakfast items. Some families received toys, which were provided through the Toys for Tots Program. Many, many volunteers, including Bellefonte Area High School football and basketball team students came out to help with this event, pick up toys and food items, fill the boxes, and distribute these items.
