Kiwanis hears couple’s pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago
LAURA JAMESON/THE EXPRESS
The Lock Haven Kiwanis Club recently heard from Nancy and Todd Kline regarding their pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago. The trek began in France and traveled into Spain to the shrine of the apostle James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. Todd walked the first 15 days with Nancy, and her daughter walked the final 15. In total, it took over a month for Nancy to complete the walk. The couple spoke about the beauty of the countries they trekked, along with the food, albergues — hostels specific for those on the pilgrimage, along with meeting folks from across the world and more. Nancy said she chose to do the trek following her retirement and said it was a wonderful experience.
